Build More Room For God

Our mission is to introduce people to Jesus and help them become fully devoted followers of Jesus.

God is up to something BIG. We continue to BUILD more room for God in our lives and in our church buildings.
In the spirit of 2 Corinthians 8:11 let us “finish the work” together.

Currently, the estimated cost for completing the renovations in the South Campus Lakeview building and the fourth floor in the Central Campus expansion is around $5.5 million.

As of December 2025, we have a total giving of $1,230,469

Permanent buildings act as bridges between the community and the church, offering purpose-built spaces to serve those in need and to invite people to grow in Christ. The CSC multisite strategy empowers our congregation to live out the gospel in the very communities they are already connected to. With ministry locations spread across the city, people can invite neighbours, family, and friends to gatherings that are nearby, making it easier for them to experience Jesus and grow in faith within their own local context.

These buildings belong to God alone and He is using them every day to reach people, deepen discipleship, and extend His Kingdom. For instance, in the 2024–2025 fiscal year:

  • The average weekly attendance at our Bearspaw Campus went up to 1,350 (almost four times what it was before the new facility construction)
  • An estimated 230 people made a first-time commitment to Jesus.
  • 22,340 meals were served through the Well Café, box lunches, and hampers.
  • 4,451 individuals were assisted by the Centre for The City renew clothing ministry.
  • The New Canadian Hub went from 299 to 405 students accessing classes since we opened our Centre for the City facility.

And that is just a glimpse but there’s more. On November 2, 2025, the new Lakeview Campus held its very first service in its new permanent home right in the heart of the Lakeview community. Since then, the congregation has been gathering there week after week, settling into the space and watching it take shape around them. While the essential renovations were completed in time for launch—including the full roof replacement, upgraded sound and AV systems, new washrooms and accessibility features, updated seating, and fresh paint and carpeting—additional repairs and finishing touches have continued behind the scenes as ministry carried on.

Furthermore, we are now getting ready to start renovations on the 4th floor of the Central Campus expansion sometimes in 2026, and we couldn’t be more excited about that! Completion of the 4th floor will create additional classrooms for our Centre for the City and open up more ministry space in the northeast and southeast corners of the building, as staff offices transition to the 4th floor.

We are deeply grateful to each of you who have continued to give faithfully, persevere with us, and join hands in this generosity journey of building. Thank you for listening to God’s voice and responding to His leading in both your life and your finances. May the Lord bless you abundantly as together we BUILD more room for God’s work!
