Build Update

Church family, we have exciting news!

Next Sunday, November 2, our South Campus family will gather for their very first two services in their permanent home in Lakeview. Praise God for this amazing milestone! This is not just at South Campus, but a Centre Street Church celebration for what God continues to do in the life of His Church.

Therefore, this is a 3-fold update:

1. a new location
2. a new name
3. a new thing

The new location is situated in the Lakeview Community and therefore the South Campus family is transitioning to a new name: Lakeview Campus. And of all this is possible and informed by God, because HE is doing a new thing (Isaiah 43:19a, NIV), expanding His Kingdom for His glory alone.

We believe countless lives will be transformed through this new site, as many will come to know Jesus and grow as His fully devoted followers. As part of this exciting new chapter, our South Campus will begin a gradual transition to the new facility, leading up to a grand opening celebration next year.

Think of it like moving into a new home: you wouldn’t throw a housewarming party the very next day, right? First comes unpacking, fixing, and settling in—then the celebration. That’s exactly what our Lakeview Campus family will be doing over the next few months. We’ve been renovating the space to make it more accessible and get it ready for ministry. While the essential work is complete, we still have ongoing needs—like parking improvements, electrical upgrades, technical installations, and a few other items. We’re not quite ready to host a party yet.

For this reason, November 2 marks a soft launch for the South Campus family ONLY. We are not yet hosting a grand opening for the Lakeview community or the wider Centre Street family. In fact, we kindly ask that you do not attend services at Lakeview just yet. Please continue to worship at your current campus, and we’ll let you know when tours and a full celebration are ready—likely sometimes in the winter.

So hang tight for now—we’ll let you know as soon as we’re ready to throw the big opening celebration!

Lastly, we are deeply grateful to each of you who have continued to give faithfully, persevere with us, and join hands in this generosity journey of building. Thank you for listening to God’s voice and responding to His leading in both your life and your finances. May the Lord bless you abundantly as together we BUILD more room for God’s work!
