Grace Church – Pavlivka, Ukraine
Pastor Rostyslav and his wife Natalya have been faithfully serving in this rural church for about 25 years now. Their regular weekly services, Sunday School, studies, youth meetings, etc. continue despite difficulties from the ongoing conflict. The Boychuks are profoundly grateful for HART and its sponsors, saying that HART’s support means they feel cared for and that the help provided is vitally important for their ministry to the community.
Last year the church organized a summer camp which they offered free to 100 children from the surrounding villages. This church is working hard to provide food packages to poor seniors several times a year. Thousands of cans of food produced by the church have also been sent to civilians suffering from the war and to the military. This food production has opened doors to cooperation with local authorities and to residents who often ask for the products when sending parcels to relatives at the front.
As they look to the future, the people of Grace Church are making plans to reconstruct their camp base to help with rehabilitation of military personnel. They ask for prayers for victory and peace in Ukraine, for a spiritual awakening in the country, for help and support for all those affected by the war, and for the salvation of millions of people.
