Welcome to Community is a 9-week introduction to community, designed to give participants a glimpse of what being a biblical community is about. At Centre Street Church, we believe that discipleship and mission are most effectively accomplished when done through smaller groups of believers. This experience will give you a fresh vision of group life by exploring why Jesus created a spiritual family on mission.
We’ll come together weekly to:
- Connect with God in worship & prayer
- Learn some key concepts of spiritual family from God’s Word and Jesus’ way of discipling
- Meet like-minded people and grow in our relationships with each other
- Learn to be intentional about building relationships with people who are exploring the faith and reaching out to them with the love and truth of God.
We will work with participants to discover what living as a “missional community” looks like, both during and after the 9 weeks of Welcome to Community
