Each year we hear of individuals who attend Alpha and leave with their faith stronger than ever before. Three years ago, after going through the Alpha course, Cam accepted Jesus into his life.
"Every week I learned something new and personal revelations occurred. Then the Holy Spirit weekend helped prepare my heart to accept Christ into my life, and on March 13th, 2017 I accepted Him as my Lord and savior. When doing so, my past porn addiction was lifted from my life. He prompted me through Henry’s sermon on March 11th, with James 5:16 “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed”. Jesus gave me the power to confess my sin to Caitlyn and He helped her forgive me for my past sin. The effects of my past sin are no longer present and I feel closer to God every day as I dig into His word. Our Alpha table turned into a weekly bible study and now Caitlyn and I are now leading the group through a new series we found on right now media. Our group members are lifelong friends and we don’t know what we would do without their love and support that is motivated by God. Life is in no ways easier now that Christ is in my life, but He IS making it more manageable by leaning into Him and not the world. He is in the driver’s seat of my life now, and I have that sense of fulfillment that I was searching for my entire life.” – Cam
