We thank and praise God for a blessed 2025 and we look forward as a church family and as individuals to what the Lord has in store for us in 2026. To that end, our church has set aside the first week of January to fast and pray, diligently seeking God’s face for 2026, trusting that as we do, He will reveal His hand.
Depending on your schedule, we encourage you to set aside a specific time to pray and fast daily. The essence of this time is to delight in God and seek His face.
To that effect, we have prepared a “Prayer Guide” document containing a prayer focus for each day of the week.
Additionally, we have developed a “How to Fast” guide to help you know how to safely fast (and break the fast). Fasting is not restricted to food only but can include denying oneself from anything the Spirit of Jesus invites us to fast from. Fasting is a mysterious and sacred practice that opens the way for us to encounter Christ at a deeper level.
During this week, we will come together each day at the Central Campus for a special time of prayer at 12 p.m., creating an opportunity for both staff and congregants to join their hearts in seeking God, lifting up our church, community, and the year ahead in unified prayer.
To conclude this week, we will gather at Central Campus on Friday, January 9 at 7:00 PM for The City Wide Prayer Rally where we will seek the heart of the Father and establish the spiritual climate for 2026
Let us grow closer to the image of our Savior by spending time at the feet of Jesus, meditating on His Word, and seeking His face in prayer and fasting. We are expectant to experience the presence of God in a powerful way!
