Position Summary:

The Trades Support Team Members are a group of skilled tradesmen that can offer support by sharing their knowledge, expertise and skills in the ongoing maintenance and repair of our Facilities and Grounds.

Facilities & Grounds ministry empowers our congregation to use their practical talents to create a safe, welcoming experience for all. We are more than a maintenance team; we are a spiritual family dedicated to supporting CSC’s mission of introducing people to Jesus through excellence in stewardship and community.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carpentry & Construction
• Locksmith
• Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical
• Automotive mechanic
• Flooring
• Seasonal work bees

Time Commitment:

• It depends on the project but will work with the volunteers' schedule
• 2-3 hours per week
• Daytime, evenings or weekends, as your schedule permits

Qualifications:

• Mechanically inclined
• General knowledge of basic maintenance (professional experience preferred)
• Ability to safely use hand tools and small power tools
• Good problem solving, skills and attention to detail
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team
