Position Summary:

A Custodial Support Steward is a dedicated volunteer who works alongside the custodial staff to maintain clean and functional campus facilities.

• General Maintenance: Assisting with cleaning and caring for the building
• Logistics: Setting up and taking down event spaces and rearranging furniture
• Operational Support: Handling essential tasks like weekly laundry to ensure ministries run smoothly

We are more than a maintenance team; we are a spiritual family dedicated to supporting CSC’s mission of introducing people to Jesus through excellence in stewardship and community.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Custodial Support Team helps ensure our facilities are clean, safe and ready for guests through consistent care and hospitality.

• Vacuuming, sweeping, dusting and sanitizing surfaces
• Cleaning of washrooms and common areas
• Laundering tablecloths, mops & wiping cloths
• Removing waste & recycling
• Basic care and upkeep of cleaning equipment

Time Commitment:

• 2-3 hours per week.
• Flexible Scheduling (daytime, evenings or weekends)

Qualifications:

• Physically able to move, push or carry heavy items
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail
