Position Summary:

Come join us on the weekends and facilitate our Grade 5 & 6 students during their Large Group time! Large Group Leaders guide and lead students through fun group activities, worship, a time of giving, and Scripture reading using provided curriculum.

Ministry Vision:

Grade 5/6 Ministry exists to see students find a place to belong through building life-giving relationships with other students, their leaders, and with God. These relationships are so important, and our prayer is they will begin in Grade 5&6 and continue on in Youth Ministries. We exist to introduce students to Jesus, love Him deeply, grow in God’s truth, discover their unique purpose, belong to His church, and step confidently into making a difference in the world around them.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and actively lead Grade 5 & 6 students through an intentional service time using provided curriculum and scripts.
• Connect relationally with students.
• Attend all Grade 5 & 6 training & large group community activities.

Time Commitment:

• Weekend Services (1-2 times per month, 2-hour commitment during the service)
• Training Events (1-2 per year)

Qualifications:

• Understanding of, and agreement with, CSC Statement of Faith, Mission and Pursuits
• Spiritual gifts of leadership, teaching, and shepherding
• Strong relational, communication, mentoring, and listening skills
