Position Summary:

As a Pursuit leader, you would be responsible for leading our Youth during weekend programming we call Pursuit. During this time, you will be leading a guided study time, which will help our youth learn about scripture and how it relates to their lives. During this time, you will also be building relationships, fun memories and get to have conversations about faith, their lives, and things that matter most.

Ministry Vision:

Reach youth, develop disciples. We want to introduce youth to Christ and help them become fully devoted followers of Him.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Arriving early before service, prepared to teach and engage with youth and lead them in faith
• Leading a small group of youth in activities and discussion
• Connecting with youth to create meaningful relationships
• Meeting with youth staff on a regular basis for support and guidance
• Supporting the spiritual growth of the youth in your group

Time Commitment:

• During service times (Saturday pm or Sunday)

Qualifications:

• Have the ability to help guide conversation
• Encourage youth in their faith and help have meaningful conversation
• Have a desire to see youth come to know Christ and become devoted followers.
