Position Summary:

The Weekday Tech on Site is a support-focused role that ensures all tech-enabled rooms are functioning properly for various midweek groups, classes, Bible studies, and events. They do not run events directly, but are available on-site to assist with technical setup, troubleshooting, and general tech oversight across the facility.

Ministry Vision:

Technical Services exists to illuminate, magnify, and enhance all aspects of the CSC corporate worship service and ministry/group events, to help accomplish our mission of introducing people to Jesus and helping them to become fully devoted followers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Be present in the building during the week when groups are scheduled
• Provide general tech support for events and meetings as needed (e.g., Bible studies, classes, small events)
• Assist group leaders in setting up AV equipment (e.g., TVs, speakers, projectors, microphones, etc.)
• Troubleshoot simple and common issues
• Lock up and/or power down equipment as needed after groups finish

Time Commitment:

• Weekday mornings/afternoons/evenings (exact time based on building schedule and needs). Typically 2–4 hours, depending on group bookings

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with basic AV setup (HDMI connections, plugging in microphones, using a TV remote, etc.)
• Clear and calm communicator with a service-first attitude; willing to go above and beyond to help groups and handle last-minute requests with patience and professionalism
• Comfortable working independently and handling multiple small issues across different rooms
• Ready to problem-solve on the fly and take initiative
