Position Summary:

The Maintenance Support volunteer assists with basic repairs, upkeep, and facility improvements at our Bearspaw Campus to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This role supports staff by completing various maintenance tasks and helping with general building needs.

Ministry Vision:

To develop and steward CSC’s buildings and grounds by creating welcoming and safe environments to further the mission of introducing people to Jesus and helping them to become fully devoted followers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Small painting projects
• Minor plumbing fixes
• Basic carpentry repairs
• Furniture upkeep
• General equipment maintenance

Time Commitment:

• It depends on the project, but will work with the volunteer's schedule.

Qualifications:

• General knowledge of basic maintenance (professional experience preferred)
• Ability to safely use hand tools and small power tools
• Good problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team
• Respectful, service-oriented attitude
