Worship Leader

Position Summary:

As a worship leader you help to lead the congregation in Spirit-led and biblically grounded worship of the triune God. Worship leaders make disciples through planning and executing Spirit-led worship services that provide opportunity for our community to worship our Lord through music, sacraments, preaching of the word, testimonies, prayer, and other art forms.

Ministry Vision:

  • Worship is our full life response - Head, Heart, Hands - to who God is and what He has done.
    • Head: We seek to know and understand who God is and what He has done. We choose to worship him with our minds.
    • Heart: We delight in who God is and what He has done. Out of the overflow of a grateful heart we surrender and commit our wills to Him.
    • Hands: We respond with acts of worship in our everyday lives on and off of the platform. We serve those around us and offer up our entire lives as a sacrifice of praise.
    • We seek to become a discipleship culture in which the pursuit of experiencing God through God-directed worship is normal. Our times of worship will be designed/arranged in such a way to allow for people to hear from God and are free to respond to God through confession, prayer, adoration, praise, giving, serving and encouraging one another in the faith.
