Position Summary:

Social Media Contributors help share the life of our church online by creating and capturing content that informs, encourages and inspires. Social media is an immensely powerful platform where we can reach and walk alongside people in their daily lives.

Ministry Vision:

Communications Ministry exist to capture the life of our church and all that God is doing in and through it. Through photography, videography and other related multimedia skills, we want to glorify Christ and share Jesus with others. We are a community that embodies discipleship all while growing in our skills and relationship with God and each other.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Capture videos/photos of weekend highlights and ministry events for CSC social media pages.
• Develop/edit creative reels and videos that highlight our church culture.
• Follow CSC’s social media strategy and philosophy.
• Work with the Media Team to capture meaningful content
• Follow CSC media team etiquette to ensure a non-distracting, informative and purposeful environment for congregants.
• Follow CSC’s photo guidelines, branding and styles.

Time Commitment:

• As needed – based on availability and event schedule
• Media Team Event Schedule will be shared – sign up as available

Qualifications:

• Interest in social media and storytelling
• Knowledge in social media platforms, trends and content forms
• Responsible with gear and time commitment
• Able to follow direction and work well with a creative team
• Teachable attitude and open to feedback
• Excited to serve and help share what God is doing
