Position Summary:

The 55+ Table Host helps build a Christ-centred community be encouraging seniors to grow in faith and connect deeply. They play a key role at Timeless Worship, luncheons and special events by creating a welcoming space for meaningful conversation and prayer.

Ministry Vision:

The Adults 55+ Community at Centre Street Church (CSC) exists to provide opportunities for seniors to flourish in their faith, to grow strong spiritually and to bear fruit in the seasons and circumstances of their lives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and warmly welcome seniors at your assigned table
• Facilitate introductions and guide conversation around the event’s theme
• Encourage and engage seniors in spiritual discussion and prayer
• Be attentive to the needs of those at your table, offering support and care
• Help seniors connect with further ministry opportunities at CSC

Time Commitment:

• Varies by event (typically 2-4 hours before and/or after the event)

Qualifications:

• Relational
• Warm & friendly
• Comfortable initiating and facilitating conversation
• Spiritually mature
• Committed to praying with and for others
