Position Summary:

As an Online Chat Engagement Host you are on the frontlines of our broadcast that can be seen around the world. You must engage and welcome each person that enters into the chat and prayerfully lead them through the service by intentionally ask questions and providing helpful commentary as needed.

Ministry Vision:

Technical Services exists to develop and deploy volunteers and staff to support all aspects of worship, ministry events, and gatherings, ensuring technical excellence while fostering a spiritually enriched team environment. We collaborate with ministries on the best uses of technology and media to support all gatherings communicating the difference Jesus can make in someone's life as we partner and serve together in introducing them to Jesus or helping them grow closer to him.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create an engaging and welcoming feel for those joining our online services
• Be aware of the order of service and be prepared to answer questions regarding it
• Be ready to pray with members of the online congregation when the time calls for it
• Be punctual and reliable when you are serving
• Be kind and caring in how you engage with those online

Time Commitment:

• 6 to 12 hours a month (minimum), as well as occasional training opportunities and special events. This varies based upon availability. 

Qualifications:

• Familiarity and alignment with CSC Statement of Faith, Mission & Pursuits
• A passion for welcoming people to church, and introducing them to Christ
• A desire to engage with the greater church community outside the walls of the physical church, including those who are new to church or checking us out for the first time
