Position Summary:

As a buddy, you'll be partnered with one or two children or youth who have disabilities. Your job is to show up ready to serve with a kind and open heart. You'll help them feel included, supported, and engaged during class time. We aim to make every child feel heard, seen and loved whether it's sitting with them, helping them participate, or simply being a calm and friendly presence. As a buddy, you help make the gospel accessible to every child and show them they are valued members of God's family.

Ministry Vision:

Our mission is to introduce people to Jesus and help them become fully devoted followers of Him. We do this by discipling, equipping, and investing in children, youth, and adults with disabilities-as well as their parents, support workers, and our volunteers. Through both inclusive and specialized environments, we aim to support the broader church community in making the gospel accessible to everyone. By bridging the gap between the church and the disability community, we strive to foster inclusion, understanding, and spiritual growth for all.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Show Jesus' love to participants
• Support class participants in one-on-one or small group settings by
• Playing alongside kids
• Engaging in the Bible story, Prayers, and Verse
• Help regulate emotions
• Build relationships with participants, parents and other volunteers
• Have fun!

Time Commitment:

• Once per weekend or biweekly, on Sunday mornings during the 9:00am and 11:00am services

• Flexible and adaptable to new situations, with a love of learning
