Position Summary:

A Community Group Leader serves this generation by inviting students into your life and allowing them to follow you as you follow Christ, committing to walk alongside students as they journey through all that life throws at them.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare for and lead the weekly community group gathering using curriculum provided
• Attends all Youth Ministry training & large group community activities
• Connects relationally with students, parents & families in the Community Group under their care

Time Commitment:

• Wednesday evening gatherings; NOW services; Youth events; retreats; training events

Qualifications

• Understanding of, and agreement with, CSC Statement of Faith, Mission and Pursuits (as per cschurch.ca/aboutus)
• Spiritual gifts of leadership, and shepherding
• Strong relational, communication, mentoring and listening skills
