Position Summary:
The Camera Operator’s role is to creatively capture our weekend services in a way that helps people watching online connect with worship and the Word. This position is more than technical—it is worship. As a camera operator, you become an artist behind the viewfinder, helping bring the service to life. You will serve in a fast-paced ministry environment, working with a team of volunteers to create a meaningful and engaging experience.
Ministry Vision:
Technical Services exists to illuminate, magnify, and enhance all aspects of the CSC corporate worship service and ministry/group events, to help accomplish our mission of introducing people to Jesus and helping them to become fully devoted followers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Pre-Service / Rehearsal
- Arrive at your pre-determined call time
- Review the Order of Service and worship set
- Attend the Production Meeting
- Show your Director the shots you can capture during rehearsal, ensuring the team is prepared During Service
- Stay in position and remain focused, maintaining a posture of worship
- Follow all direction from your Director
- Creatively capture worship moments so online viewers can engage through your shots
Time Commitment:
- Sundays: 6–7 hours, beginning at 7:15 AM and serving through teardown
- Saturdays: 6–7 hours, beginning at 2:30 PM through Sunday morning setup
- Optional: Weeknight rehearsals or special events
- Minimum: Once per month
Qualifications:
- Strong communicator and team player
- Reliable and punctual
- Calm under pressure and adaptable
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Comfortable with technical gears
