Position Summary:

The Orchestra Member is a gifted and experienced musician with a passion for using their instrument to make beautiful, inspiring music in community with other Orchestra Members. The orchestra blesses the CSC congregation during some weekend services and for special presentations and concerts.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly orchestra practices
• Participate in scheduled weekend services (2-3 per month) and concerts
• Practice individually outside of rehearsal times, as necessary

Time Commitment:

• Weekly rehearsals (Thursdays, 7-9 pm) and scheduled services (2 morning or 2 evening) and concerts

Qualifications

• Familiarity with our Statement of Faith, Principles & Beliefs
• Musical training and experience
• Cooperative and able to work as a team
• Teachable; open to correction
• Passion for music
