The Communion Coordinator recruits and organizes the communion attendants every 4-5 weeks to serve the Lord’s Supper to the CSC congregation in a respectful, unified, solemn, and orderly manner, without distracting others.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop a database of volunteer communion servers
  
• Send out emails to coordinate the serving of the Lord’s Supper
• Work with Lead Pastor to determine order of service and when communion will occur
• Assign communion servers to various serving roles and ensure that everyone knows responsibilities and timelines
• Be willing to fill in as a communion server if needed

Qualifications

• Understanding of, and agreement with our Statement of Faith, Principles & Beliefs
  
• Respect for the sacrament of communion
