CSC’s Altar Prayer Partners commit to meeting people 1:1, as they approach the Altar, listening to their personal concerns with discernment and mercy, and then responding with Spirit-led prayer.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Be available at the Prayer Altar of CSC Worship Centre, following services
  
• Warmly greet individuals who come to Prayer Altar, and listen with discernment and mercy
• Pray, as God’s Spirit leads; do not counsel or give advice
• Direct people to Life Care Ministries, if appropriate, for godly counsel
• Keep all conversations confidential

Qualifications

• Understanding of, and agreement with our Statement of Faith, Principles & Beliefs
  
• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Ability to remain composed when receiving potentially shocking information
