The NCFC ESL Teaching Assistant supports the Lead Teacher in providing quality English Language instruction and in creating a safe and welcoming community for people of all faiths and cultures.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Communicate with Lead Teacher on a regular basis
  
• Assist Lead Teacher in class with specific tasks
• Attend all training sessions if possible
• Be faithful in attendance and give notice to Lead Teacher when absence is required
• Be intentional in developing safe and caring relationships with students 

Qualifications

• Understanding of, and agreement with our Statement of Faith, Principles & Beliefs
  
• Christ-like love and respect for new immigrants/people of other faiths and cultures
• Prior immigrant serving experience is an asset
