The NCFC Café Host acts as the first point of contact for new visitors coming to the NCFC and ensures they have a positive initial experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete tasks such as making coffee, keeping the café tidy, serving pastries, etc.
  
• Welcome new visitors and engage them in conversation; help determine needs and be prepared to explain NCFC programs and events
• Greet regular visitors and intentionally develop trust-based relationships with them
• Be proactive in ensuring an environment of safety, trust, and respect in the café area
• Attend NCFC Volunteer training sessions

Qualifications

• Understanding of, and agreement with our Statement of Faith, Principles & Beliefs
  
• Flexibility and willingness to pitch in wherever needed 
• Christ-like love and respect for new immigrants/people of other faiths and cultures
