The NCFC Café Host acts as the first point of contact for new visitors coming to the NCFC and ensures they have a positive initial experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete tasks such as making coffee, keeping the café tidy, serving pastries, etc.
- Welcome new visitors and engage them in conversation; help determine needs and be prepared to explain NCFC programs and events
- Greet regular visitors and intentionally develop trust-based relationships with them
- Be proactive in ensuring an environment of safety, trust, and respect in the café area
- Attend NCFC Volunteer training sessions
Qualifications
- Understanding of, and agreement with our Statement of Faith, Principles & Beliefs
- Flexibility and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
- Christ-like love and respect for new immigrants/people of other faiths and cultures
