The Large Group Teacher hosts and facilitates the large group portion of a child’s learning. They present Bible stories in a creative, interactive, and meaningful way so that it captures the attention of every child.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Attend huddle, half hour before Awana starts for prayer
• Share Word of God with accuracy, joy and enthusiasm!
• Spend time in God’s Word prior to teaching so that you can minister out of a full cup
• Prepare for lessons, using God’s Word and scripts/outlines that may be provided
• Communicate with the Awana lead regularly

Qualifications

• Understanding of, and agreement with our Statement of Faith, Principles & Beliefs
• A growing relationship with God; enjoys teaching and telling stories; comfortable praying out loud
• Minimum 6 months of regular CSC church attendance
