A Sparks/T&T Group Leader cares for an assigned small group of children. They play, experience the story, and worship together with their group. Then in a small group setting, they listen to the children’s verses that they are working through in their handbooks, they apply the lessons they are learning in their handbooks to the children’s lives, let them share what is on their hearts, and pray together.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Attend huddle, half hour before Awana starts for prayer
• Commit to pray for the children and their families
• Communicate with the Awana lead regularly
• Focus attention on children

Qualifications

• Understanding of, and agreement with our Statement of Faith, Principles & Beliefs
• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• A desire to love grade school children, helping them get to know Jesus
• Minimum 6 months of regular CSC church attendance
