Our purpose at Centre Street Church is to introduce people to Jesus and help them become His devoted followers.

At the beginning of this year, we ran a congregational survey with the intention of understanding where we are at as a community of Christ in relation to our five pursuits: Pursuing God, Pursuing Relationships, Pursuing Mission, Pursuing Generosity, and Pursuing Simplicity.

Anyone who considered CSC their home church and was in grade ten or older, was invited to take this anonymous survey.

More than 1,800 congregants participated providing invaluable insights into the congregation’s spiritual journey, challenges, and preferences.

What we learned

We learned that respondents are praying and reading their bibles, and we see that people are sharing their faith and that people believe that community is important.

We also saw that people want more. While we believe community is important, we’re finding it hard to make room for getting together. We want to be sharing our faith more and we have an opportunity to serve God together. Most importantly – we want a deeper connection to Jesus and we want to build up or spiritual lives.

Below is the final 2025 Congregation Survey Report summarizing the data collected and the overall findings of this study.

We invite you to read it and prayerfully consider ways this survey can help you to grow in your relationship with Christ.
