As ministry leaders, our effectiveness flows from our intimacy with God. Encounter God offers staff an opportunity to step away from the demands of ministry and daily routines, creating space to slow down and refocus on knowing Him more deeply in unhurried, intentional ways.
You will be equipped with further biblical tools to walk with God in increasing intimacy, receive healing from deep wounds and pain, hear and be refreshed by the Holy Spirit, and learn to live more fully in the power God makes available to you. It also enables you to experience the Encounter God ministry so that you know what is available for your volunteers and the CSC congregation.
Throughout the retreat, we will create space for personal times of quiet reflection alongside group discussion (you are able to request the staff members in your group, up to 3 in a group). You will also be informed ahead of time who will be in your group so that changes can be made if you are not comfortable with the person(s) for whatever reason, and your request will be accommodated.
Note: If you’re unable to attend Encounter God – Staff Edition, staff members are strongly encouraged to participate in one of the three public Encounter God gatherings in 2026 at Bearspaw, Central, or Riversedge. During the public ones you may bring 3-4 friends to be in a group together - just let Hanna know when registering your request.
