Tuesday Afternoon Study is back and we’re so excited to welcome you! From January 20th until May 5th, we’ll be walking through two engaging studies together—first, “The Chosen: Season 4,” and then “The Truth in True Crime.”
The Chosen, Season 4
God’s Goodness for the Chosen
We see it over and over again in the Bible: God brings good things out of bad things for the sake of His people and for His glory. But truth be told, when we personally experience suffering (including death, grief, confusion, heartbreak, spiritual pain and/or physical pain), we sometimes struggle to truly believe it. Yet, we know life was challenging even for the followers of Jesus and hardship in the twenty-first century is no exception.
God’s Goodness for the Chosen takes readers through eight lessons which reveal how God uses suffering to bring about good things in the lives of those He loves, and how we can reframe those hardships and see them as fertile soil for God's goodness to grow in our lives.
When: Every Tuesday, January 20—March 24, 2026
Where: Central Campus. Chapel B

Note: For this course, there is a cost for the study material. The fee will be approximately $20, and you can pay the facilitator in cash at the first session on January 20.
The Truth in True Crime with J. Warner Wallace
For decades, cold-case homicide detective J. Warner Wallace investigated the causes behind criminal cases, chasing one lead after another as he attempted to solve them. These cases exposed the truths of human nature: what’s important to us, what threatens our well-being, and what causes us to flourish. This series introduces you to an investigation from Wallace’s detective career and teaches guiding principles to help you thrive as a human being created in the image of God.
