Praise the Lord!! We are so grateful for how God has led us and continues to lead us! We have received the occupancy permit for our Bearspaw Campus and will be opening it for tours and services.
Thank you for your continued prayers and giving. In our June BUILD Townhall, we extended the giving period because we did not reach our giving goal and there have been cost increases. The remaining construction is expected to take about two years, and if giving to the projects continues at the current rate, the project could be fully paid in about three years. As we move into this new chapter of giving, we are working to clarify the remaining costs and expect to have a new giving goal in the fall.

Bearspaw Campus
Come for a tour!
What an exciting time we are in! We have received the occupancy permit! All campuses are invited for a tour on Sept 20 or 21. Drop in anytime between 6 – 9 PM at 33 Damkar Court, Rocky View County. The Campus is 1.5 KM south from the corner of Crowchild Trail and 12 Mile Coulee Road.
UPDATES
We are still working on landscaping which we expect to have complete by the end of September or perhaps early October. We are moving in and getting settled with a few small practice services with our immediate Bearspaw congregation happening this month as we work out the kinks; then starting in October will be inviting the broader community to join us for services. We are looking forward to worshipping and building community together in this new space. Please join us in prayer for the final preparations, and for our neighbours, that our transition into the community will go smoothly and that lives will be changed for Christ.
Central Campus
The beautiful summer weather provided the opportunity to complete landscaping in the new south parking lot as shown in the picture below. The expansion is taking shape with most structural steel now installed (except roof trusses); other work such as steel stud exterior walls, plumbing and electrical rough-ins, and concrete flooring is ongoing. On the north exterior wall, we are doing some remediation to mitigate flood risk. Painting in the northeast corner of the ceilings, walls, door frames etc. is bringing us one step closer to being able to use this space again – including the new second floor. Other activities in the existing facility include installing safety barriers so that Children’s Ministries can resume in the southwest corner.

Financial Snapshot
As we celebrate and acknowledge how God has moved in the last three years of our BUILD journey, we are now stepping into the next chapter of our giving towards BUILD more room for God. We are trusting the Lord for giving to continue as we complete the work. Giving received to date is available at this link.

Importance of Prayer
Thank you for your ongoing prayers for the ministry of Centre Street Church, and for the BUILD journey thus far. As the BUILD project moves into the next chapter, we invite you to continue praying.
- Pray for our leaders and for the decisions that need to be made including the pace of moving forward.
- Pray about what role you might have in supporting the project through your prayers and as the Lord leads you, through your giving.
- Pray for safety on the construction sites and for the Project Manager and the Building Committee.
