God has been blessing Centre Street Church, and we could not be more excited for what’s ahead. Many of you will know that earlier this year we announced that Lakeview Baptist Church approached us with the opportunity to buy their church for one dollar, and this has provided us with a home for our South Campus.
God will use this renewed space to bless our community, especially the community of Lakeview and will give us a great platform to have an impact on the next generation at Mount Royal University. We’re excited about being able to welcome others, and advancing His kingdom. We will keep updated about that!
The renovations at our Lakeview facility are now in their final stage. This journey has been marked by patience, teamwork, and prayer, and we are deeply grateful for the incredible generosity and support of our congregation throughout the process. Every prayer and every financial gift have played a part in bringing us to this moment!
Most of all, we give thanks to God for His unfailing faithfulness and provision. He has guided every step, opened every door, and reminded us that this work is ultimately for His glory.
Altogether these renovations for these two spaces will cost about $5.5 million, so please be thinking about what God might be inviting you to do when it comes to making a special gift to these projects.
