Church of the Messiah - Ottawa Ontario
We are fast approaching the 2-year mark of Sunday services. It has been an incredibly challenging and even more rewarding experience than we could have imagined. The Lord has been kind to us and has proved faithful time and again by allowing us to be used by Him to minister to many families as well as middle-aged folks who have returned to the faith after a prolonged absence and in one case decades! We are particularly blessed with having more than 30 children in our church on any given Sunday. Our constant refrain is that we are building something that will outlive our youngest members so that Christ will be lifted high for generations to come.
We are a growing church community that is based in Ottawa's West End. We are located in the fastest growing part of the city which is a 10-minute drive from 30% of Ottawa's total population. Although there are some solid churches in the area, we have found that people are eager for a rooted expression within Evangelicalism as such are drawn to our Evangelical Reformed Anglican expression of the faith.
