Growing up in a minority language group in Asia, I have personally experienced how lives in my local community were transformed as people were able to understand translated Scriptures in their mother tongue. I came to Canada in 2007 to study accounting and management, and God opened the door for me to join Wycliffe in 2008. Since then, I have lived in Calgary and am using my skills to serve at the home office. I see God’s call on my life as I work as a finance specialist to ensure Wycliffe Canada is thriving financially, and that Wycliffe members working globally have the financial services they need to succeed. With the entire Bible now available in my language, I can attest to the powerful experience of reading Scripture in my mother tongue. My daily prayer is for God’s Word to reach people of every culture, language and nation.
